Microscope Enhanced Dentistry

Microscopic Enhanced Dentistry (or Microdentistry) enables Dr. Becker-Walker to see microscopic details that are simply impossible to visualize with either the naked eye or loupes (glasses with magnification in the lenses). Less than 1% of General Dentists use microscopes to perform their dentistry. Dr. Becker-Walker is taking the lead in her field in this endeavor.

The Surgical Operating Microscopes that Dr. Becker-Walker uses gives a clear, bright, magnified perspective that is second to none. This enlarged 3D image allows for a more accurate diagnosis and precise dentistry. This is a large reason why the practice was branded Precision Dental Care. Greater visual acuity with the surgical microscope's wide range of magnification and bright illumination removes a lot of guess work that may take place with "eyes only" dentistry. Many of the fractures and cavities that exist are too difficult to see with the naked eye or even loupes. The microscope strongly aids in spotting the fine dividing line between healthy and unhealthy.

Patients are able to watch Dr. Becker-Walker perform treatment, if they wish, since the microscopes show the image on a monitor in the operatories. Dr. Becker-Walker can also show the patient what was viewed under the microscope to explain the treatment plan with the patient so as to remove any doubt or confusion.

Needless to say, Microscope Enhanced Dentistry is a wonderful revolution and is the direction in which dentistry is moving. Higher magnification allows the dentist to see better! This is a win-win for both the practitioner and the patient. Feel free to ask the Precision Dental Care team any questions you may have on this revolutionary technology.

"Dr. Stacy Becker-Walker and her staff at Precision Dental Care are professional, yet they make me feel very relaxed and comfortable. I have been very happy with the dental work that they have done (and it was extensive). While I don't look forward to having dental work done, at least while seeing Dr. Becker-Walker, I don't get white knuckles when I walk in the door."
