Dr. Becker-Walker graduated with distinction and many honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2002 where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Becker-Walker is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. Prior to dental school, Dr. Becker-Walker attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis for premed studies after having graduated from the St. Louis Community College-Forest Park Dental Hygiene program in 1995. Dr. Becker-Walker practiced Dental Hygiene prior to becoming a dentist, which she feels has enriched her career as a dentist.

Dr. Becker-Walker has always been passionate about dental medicine and had dreams of pursuing this calling since a very young age. Dr. Becker-Walker is also very active in pursuing continuing education, incorporating the latest in research and technology into the treatment and care she provides at Precision Dental Care.

One piece of technology that Dr. Becker-Walker is most passionate about is the surgical operating microscope. The implementation of this equipment is also known as Microscope Enhanced Dentistry. The microscope allows Dr. Becker-Walker to view intra-oral structures at an extremely high level of magnification which allows for a more thorough diagnosis and precise treatment. Dr. Becker-Walker is a member of the following organizations: The American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Missouri Dental Association, Greater St. Louis Dental Society, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and the Christian Medical and Dental Associations.

Dr. Becker-Walker is married to a wonderful, supportive husband and together they have two beautiful children.

Melissa Becker is a full time Dental Hygienist and is honored to be a member of the Precision Dental Care team. Before Melissa became a dental hygienist, she worked as a dental assistant for an oral surgeon for 6 years. She graduated from Forest Park Community College in 2001 as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been with Precision Dental Care since July of 2006.

Melissa loves bringing smiles to the community where she grew up and lives. She looks forward to visiting with you and providing you with a dental health plan that is customized to fit your personal needs.

Melissa is married to a wonderful husband and is expecting her first child in September. They have a black lab named Choco, who brings much joy to their lives. Melissa loves spending time with her family, traveling, and being outdoors and also enjoys teaching Jazzercise a few evenings a week.

Kelly Steffens is the Treatment Coordinator at Precision Dental Care. She is the first contact at the office when you call or come in, so she looks forward to meeting you and making your dental experience a positive one. Kelly has been in dentistry for 11 years working in a variety of positions. She has been a dental assistant, an office manager, and has even taught dental assisting at a local college. But her passion is working with patients, giving them comfort in knowing that the business portion of their dental visit will be handled professionally and accurately.

Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children, and pets. They keep her busy on a daily basis. She enjoys her pets, boating, watercrafts, travel, reading and, of course, watching St. Louis sports teams.

Courtney Petti is one of Dr. Becker-Walker's Expanded Function Dental Assistants.

Courtney started dental assisting in the summer of 2000. She earned her Expanded Function certificate from Nichols Career Center and the Missouri Dental Association. The certification she has in direct and indirect restorative allows her to help Dr. Becker-Walker provide patients with excellent oral health care.

Courtney has been with Dr. Becker-Walker since March 2003 and is very proud to be a part of the Precision Dental Care Team.

In addition to her passion for dentistry, her favorite things are enjoying outdoor adventures such as hiking, camping, and kayaking with her husband, Wade, and their dog, Logan.

Michele O'Leary is one of Dr. Becker-Walker's Dental Hygienists and is also honored to be a member of the Precision Dental Care team. Michele was a dental assistant for 8 years before becoming a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Forest Park Community College in 1996 with an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene and is also a Certified Instructor for DEXIS Digital Diagnostic Imaging. Michele has been with Precision Dental Care since October of 2006.

As a Dental Hygienist for the last 11 years, Michele enjoys educating patients about their oral health and how it can affect their overall health. She enjoys taking continuing education courses and reading professional and health articles to stay current with dental techniques.

A native of South St. Louis County, Michele is married, has 3 children and now lives in the Imperial area. She and her family enjoy boating in the summer, playing games, watching movies and just being together. Michele personally likes to do craft projects, cooking, stamping, scrapbooking, reading and being on the computer.

Janet is the Sterilization Coordinator at Precision Dental Care. Janet manages the dental office infection control plan to ensure that OSHA, CDC, and other health standards are met. She handles cleaning, sterilization, disinfection, and re-circulation of the dental instruments and treatment rooms.

Janet obtained her Associates Degree in Business Management from Jefferson College and graduated with honors, and is working on her BA degree.

Janet is delighted to be a part of the Precision Dental Care team and takes pride in providing a safe and healthy environment for the patients.

Janet is married and has 2 children, 3 grandchildren, a dog, and lives in the Arnold area. She enjoys collecting recipes, baking, bike riding, and reading.
